Diggers Bar is ‘the home of live music’. Diggers Bar is world famous in Hamilton for hosting live music - classic two-piece acoustic and bass on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Sundays, and full rock/pop/cover bands Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

Situated in Hood Street in a 1903 Victorian era building, Diggers Bar contains a vast amount of history. The bar is fitted with natural timbers, including a full length Kauri bar which is enhanced by antique back country curios, including wagon wheels and wine barrels.

Diggers Bar provides the perfect atmosphere for relaxing by the fireplace in winter or socializing after work on the deck during summer. Party the night away in the main bar, chill out with mates for a Sunday Session or unwind over pizza – the choice is yours.

And don’t forget that Diggers Bar has two Function Rooms available for hire. Whether you want a small intimate bar for an engagement party, stag do or hen’s night, or a large private bar with pool table for a 21st, Diggers Bar can cater to your requirements.
